HR Information Systems Support Intern

We are looking for a HR Information Systems Support Intern at Sanofi Business Services, for 25-30 hour/week and for a long-term period.

  • Role purpose
  • This position is part of the Digital Services Management Global Operations team within the Sanofi Business Services (SBS) organization responsible for functional and technical support of data, business processes, and integrations for all HR Services (HRS) tools including HR Platform (Workday).
  • We are looking for an impact-oriented DSM Support to provide functional and technical support across HR systems and processes and participate in operational and continuous improvement projects for all Sanofi entities globally.
  • He/she will report to the Global DSM Operations Head and is assigned a global perimeter for operational tasks and projects. He/she will work closely with the DSM Community, HR, ITS Business Partners, Payroll and HRS front line teams to ensure that all tasks and projects are delivered in a timely manner applying and promoting best practices and Sanofi project management methodology.
  • Key responsibilities
  • DSM operational tasks:
  • • Provide Level 2 support across all HR systems and processes and follow through in a ticketing system to resolution in an effective and timely manner
  • • Generate various reports and monitor data to ensure data quality and consistency
  • • Deliver operational KPIs and compliance with Sanofi policies and guidelines including GDPR
  • • Understand change requirements at global and regional levels and translate them into actionable process and system changes
  • Project tasks:
  • • Identify process improvement opportunities through elimination of redundant activities
  • • Participate in operational and continuous improvement projects for all Sanofi entities globally
  • • Prepare process documentation, training materials
  • • Participate in process automation initiatives and ensure seamless adoption and transition
  • Expected skills
  • • Requirements gathering skills, able to capture business processes using both existing process documentation and process walkthroughs with the staff performing the process
  • • High level of interpersonal / communication skills with an ability to communicate and present at different levels of the organization
  • • Transversal mindset to work across processes, geographies, languages, cultures and business maturity levels
  • • Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation
  • • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented and results oriented
  • • Flexibility and adaptability to organize and manage multiple projects, assignments and work within structured timelines
  • • Excellent Customer Service Skills

  • • Project management experience – is a plus
  • • Systems:
  • - Business systems: Understanding of transactional / back office systems or reporting systems (Workday, ServiceNow) – is a plus
  • - Experience with Business Intelligence solutions (Qlik Sense & PowerBI) – is a plus
  • - Automation Systems: Understanding of Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Business Process Modelling (BPM), Data mining – is a plus
  • • Processes:
  • - Process assessment, modelling, and harmonization tools and techniques – is a plus
  • Background and Experience
  • • Any experience in previous intern or school assignment would be a plus in the following areas:
  • - Previous experience in similar position, supporting information systems, data and processes
  • - Background in Human Resources, Computer Science or Business Administration
  • - Experience of working in a Global Business Services environment
  • - Experience in business process analysis
  • - Digital & technology savvy
